The paring knife is ideal for mincing, peeling, and coring small fruits and vegetables. Arguably the second most important knife in the kitchen, this 3.5" Demi-Bolster Paring Knife has a small blade that tapers to a tip, making it perfect for trimming and slicing small produce like herbs and garlic. Classic Collection knives feature Wusthof's patented Precision Edge Technology (PEtec). With this patented technology, the knives are made 20% sharper to 14 degrees per side (10 degrees per side on Asian-style blades). This refinement doubles the sharpness retention because exacting angles and edges last longer than edges sharpened by hand.

The Classic Demi-Bolster Blade bring contemporary features to the most iconic blade shapes. This updated bolster allows for full use of the edge's cutting surface and permits effective sharpening along the entire length of the blade. The result is a 20% lighter, more agile knife than its counterpart in the Classic Collection.

  • Washing your knives by hand is recommended; then immediately drying them. Do not let your knives soak in water.
  • Avoid cleaners containing bleach or citrus extracts. They may stain the surface of your knives.
  • Always use a wooden cutting board to preserve blade sharpness. Cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass quickly dulls blades.
  • To maintain a sharper cutting edge, use a sharpening steel, preferably each time after you've used a knife.
  • It's best to store your Wusthof knife so its edge and your fingers are protected, preferably in a block or in-drawer knife tray.
  • We suggest using a meat cleaver when you need to cut through bone, otherwise you can damage your knife blade.
