The Wusthof Classic Ikon Paring Knife is very versatile and can be used for small mincing jobs (eg, for mincing shallots, onions and herbs) as well as cleaning, peeling and cutting fruits vegetables.

Smaller cuts of meat, trimming fats, preparing appetizers, and peeling are common uses. For hundreds of years this German steel has evolved to become more durable and ergonomically balanced; a chef's #1 tool to remain consistent, accurate and fast (save time switching between multiple blades).

  • It's best to store your Wusthof knife so its edge and your fingers are protected, preferably in a block or in-drawer knife tray.
