The Cook's Warehouse M2 Series of knives (proudly displaying The Cook's Warehouse logo), are handcrafted by Yaxell, one of the leading manufacturers since 1932, in Seki, Japan. The blades are constructed from a single piece of high-grade nitrogen-enriched American steel that has been hardened a Rockwell hardness of 63. The handles are crafted from FDA approved, heat-resistant, non-shrink Micarta, with stainless steel rivets and bolster. These durable and incredibly sharp knives are the perfect fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and American high-quality steel and technology.

The Cook's Warehouse M2 Fusion Chef's Knife has some heft in the spine of the knife, making it the perfect blade for chopping through chicken joints, larger cuts of meats and it's great for winter vegetables.

  • The Cook's Warehouse recommends washing your knives by hand; then immediately drying them. Do not let your knives soak in water.
  • Avoid cleaners containing bleach or citrus extracts. They may stain the surface of your knives.
  • Always use a wooden cutting board to preserve blade sharpness. Cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass quickly dulls blades.
  • To maintain a sharper cutting edge, use a sharpening steel, preferably each time after you've used a knife.
  • It's best to store your Yaxell knife so its edge and your fingers are protected, preferably in a block or in-drawer knife tray.
  • We suggest using a meat cleaver when you need to cut through bone, otherwise you can damage your knife blade.
