Quality Price Value My youngest daughter likes to help in the kitchen, so I bought her this colorful plastic knife, in her favorite color, yellow. It's "her special knife" to use when helping me put together a salad. While we both know that we should be "shredding" our lettuce, sometimes it's just easier to slice it up. The serrated edge will cut readily through a fat head of lettuce, yet I don't have to worry about her cutting herself with a too sharp knife. If we're saving half the head, there's no edges turning brown from contact with a metal knife. She'll even suggest we make a salad (!) just so she can use her own "special" knife.
