Staub Tagines have an enameled cast iron base and a ceramic lid. They are ideal for cooking casseroles especially tagines. Staub enameled cast iron is ideal for the initial cooking and browing since its excellent heat retention means ingredients are cooked evenly and never burnt. The ceramic lid ensures that condensation stays inside the vessel and keeps the contents moist and juicy.
These Tagines are available with a matte black base and a cream ceramic lid. They come in 2 sizes 7.875" diameter and 11" diameter.
Each beautiful, artisanal Staub product is individually made and has a unique appearance with minor differences in the glaze and finish between every item. It will be shipped to you directly from the Staub warehouse here in the USA.

Staub cookware was established in 1974 by Francis Staub who is directly involved in designing and creating each of all the pieces in the line. Following an extensive design and testing process, a patent is obtained on each particular item of cookware. During the manufacturing, a sand mold is made for each cast iron piece and then it’s destroyed-making each piece unique unto itself. The entire production process for each item takes a full working day.
Used by some of the most celebrated chefs in the world including Paul Bocuse, Thomas Keller, Jean Joho and Joel Robuchon, Staub cookware combines the traditional with the modern. Its design is so technically advanced that it actually helps to enhance the flavors of the dish.
Our Staub Products will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer (drop-shipped). Only ground shipping is available and we cannot guarantee the delivery date of drop-ship items. Drop-ship items cannot be delivered to PO Boxes, non US addresses or APO/FPO addresses.
