Staub Mini Cocottes are miniature versions of the signature round and oval Cocottes or French Ovens made by Staub. They can be used for individual portions of stews, roasts, soups, casseroles and other classic dishes and have the same self-basting spikes and black enamel interior as their larger counterparts. Mini Cocottes move beautifully from the stove to your table. Each beautiful, artisanal Staub product is individually made and has a unique appearance with minor differences in the glaze and finish between every item.
The Mini Cocottes are available in a variety of colors and in both round and oval shapes - both shapes hold approximately 0.25qt.
Black cocottes come with a brass knob on top, other colors have stainless steel knobs.
Features of Staub Cocottes include:
- Self-basting spikes underneath the lid to ensure continuous, natural basting
- Black Matte Enamel Interior

Staub cookware was established in 1974 by Francis Staub who is directly involved in designing and creating each of all the pieces in the line. Following an extensive design and testing process, a patent is obtained on each particular item of cookware. During the manufacturing, a sand mold is made for each cast iron piece and then it’s destroyed-making each piece unique unto itself. The entire production process for each item takes a full working day.
Used by some of the most celebrated chefs in the world including Paul Bocuse, Thomas Keller, Jean Joho and Joel Robuchon, Staub cookware combines the traditional with the modern. Its design is so technically advanced that it actually helps to enhance the flavors of the dish.
Our Staub Products will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer (drop-shipped). Only ground shipping is available and we cannot guarantee the delivery date of drop-ship items. Drop-ship items cannot be delivered to PO Boxes, non US addresses or APO/FPO addresses.
