The Revol Miniature Belle Cuisine Creme Brulee Dish is a miniature replica of a Revol Belle Cuisine Creme Brulee Dish - sized perfectly for a single serving or tasting. Like the Belle Cuisine Dish - it comes with handles that are integral to its construction and has all the properties of its larger cousins. New for 2011 - this dish is now available in a slate finish.
The Revol Miniature collection includes a selection of Revol pieces proportioned for mini-portions or tastings. They can be used to serve individual dishes, for condiments or as a way of storing and displaying spices, jams etc. They are made of Revol culinary porcelain and so have same strength and appearance as Revol's full sized range of products.
The Revol Belle Cuisine collection include a wonderful selection of pieces that combine French tradition with modern originality. The Belle Cuisine collection features handles that are integral to the construction of the vessel - the dish and its handles are made in a single piece which makes them extra strong. These handles make the dishes easy to pick up without burning yourself or getting your oven gloves messy. This collection contains a wide variety of pieces for all types of cooking including: casserole dishes, snail dishes, roasting dishes and a selection of single serving miniature dishes.
Revol porcelain is made of a secret mix that includes clay, quartz, feldspar and kaolin fired at ultra high temperatures which gives it the properties that make it unique. It can withstand both mechanical shock & thermal shock so it can go from refrigerator or freezer to oven to table (it has a working temperature range of -4°F to 572°F). It can also be used in a microwave and is dishwasher safe - for easy maintenance.
There is no cadmium or lead in Revol porcelain and it is non porous so it does not absorb fat, odors or bacteria - making it a safe, hygenic and natural product.
